Wanha (Old) Raatesalmi is located at a beautiful place by the lake Kuusamoj\u00e4rvi. It is traditional Finnish farm built at the beginning of 19th century. The farm is only 20 minutes drive from Kuusamo airport and 30 minutes drive from Ruka skiing centre yet you feel like you have travelled back on time.<\/p>\n

We also have an icelandic horse farm that arranges trail rides from one hour ride to hole day rides. We are small breeder of icelandics so you have good change to see foals at summer time.<\/p>\n

If you like to sense more of the atmosphere of the farm you can accommodate our beautiful Villa Raatteenranta. There are beds for 12 people (18 with extra beds). If you are looking a romantic place to stay over a night you can book accommodation from our Sauna lodge wich is only few meters from the lake.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
